Nothing is more important to me than raising student achievement.  

 

I believe the knowledge and strategies I have obtained, particularly regarding financial literacy, benefits all students, especially the lives of our Black and Brown students. Below are some of my professional highlights:

• St. Paul Public Schools improved proficiency in mathematics 6.7% during COVID

• Eden Prairie Public Schools improved proficiency in mathematics 20% over a 3 year period

• Created a K-12 Financial Literacy themed curriculum in St. Paul Public Schools

• Developed a 10-Year Professional Development Plan to improve Mathematics for St. Paul Public Schools

• Presented to numerous organizations, including NCTM, MCTM, NABSE (National Association of Black School Educators, University of Indiana, Council of Great City Schools, Council of Chief Academic Chief Officers
